The other day a laundry room owner in my town, he made holes on my clothes.
So I argued with him about that. But he kept saying that wasn’t my fault, I have no clue about this and you have to pay for doing laundry. Then in this situation, I could tell him that

Don’t play innocent. You did it.

right? haha

Yeah, that would be a grammatically correct but very aggressive way of handling that. ㅎㅎ
By the way, I think you meant to say, “He kept saying it wasn’t his fault.”
