Nepal에서 podcast를 통해 Michael씨를 알게되었고, 요즘 정말 즐겁게 잘 듣고 있어요.
저 또한 Michael씨와 비슷한 시기에 이 곳과 인연을 맺어, ‘네팔어 잘 하는’ 외국인으로서 살아온 게 거의 6년이 다 되어갑니다. Podcast 를 들으면서 타언어에 대한 느낌과 자세등 공감가는 부분이 참 많았습니다. 저도 한국에 있을 때 난민통역도 했었는데, 참 어렵고 힘든일이었음에도 그 일을 통해서 Nepal을 더 이해하게 되었거든요.
그런데, 시간이 지나면서 저는 이곳의 생활과 언어, 문화등에 많이 지쳐가고 관심도 줄고 그래요. 한마디로 말해, 이곳을 많이 사랑하지 못하게 된 저와 달리 Micheal씨는 한국을 많이 사랑하시는 거 같아 고맙기도 하고 대단하다는 생각을 많이 합니다. 당연히 힘든일도 많았을텐데 극복도 잘 하신거 같구요.
