이거 영어로 어떻게 말하지?

고질적인 영어 문제에 또 부딪혔나요?

알고 싶은 영어 표현이 있거나  해독이 안 되는 영어 표현이 있을 때 아래 란에 써 주세요.

Every year I have to submit self-assessment at work and I have been getting help from my sister’s boyfriend for the past 5 years. He lives in a different state and often comes down to see my sister. In my reply, I used to say that I would treat him together with sister, but I did only once. How do I say this: 너무 “매번 말로만 해서” “이번엔 꼭 다시 식사대접하고 싶은데.. ” 혹은 다른 경우에 “개는 맨날 (~한다고 하고) 말로만 그래” .. 감사합니다.

문장을 입에 붙을 때까지 연습해라.
Practice until you will be fully at the sentences.
로 하면 될까요?

먼저 질문에서 빠진 글자가 있습니다.
Practice it until you will get fully comfortable.
or
Practice until your lips memorize each sentences.

Hi, and thanks for stopping by the site!

That expression doesn’t exist in exactly the same form in English, but there are a few similar expressions that you can use. “Practice these expressions until they roll off your lips naturally” or “Practice these expressions until your lips have memorized them” would probably both be OK. A more natural expression might be “Keep practicing these expressions until you’ve made them your own” or something along those lines.

안녕하세요? 영어에서는 관형사나 형용사를 연속적으로 쓸 때 지켜야 되는 순서가 있어요. 그리고 소유격을 표시할 때 보통 맨 앞으로 와요. ‘My green car’나 ‘green my car’ 중에서 어느 쪽 맞는지 금방 알아낼 수 있겠죠? 수식어 하나 더 넣어서 말하자면 ‘my dear green car’라고 할 수도 있어요. 그러나 ‘my green dear car’라고 하면 어색합니다. 영어에는 형용사들이 무엇을 묘사하는지에 따라 순서가 달라집니다.

한국말로 소위 ‘낚였다’ 라는 표현이 있나요? 장난을 쳤을때 속아 넘어가는 경우..그리고 ‘쉽게 낚이는 사람’ 을 뭐라고 하나요?

Hello. “You fell for it” would probably be the best way of saying that in English. Someone who believes everything they are told is called “gullible.”

This is from the site:
He’s so gullible: 그는 귀가 얇다. A: Did he buy it? B: Yeah, that guy is so gullible. He falls for anything. (To fall for: 속다)
He believes anything. His gullibility is legendary.

저도 궁금한 표현이 있는데요..
‘애매하다’는 영어로 어떻게 쓰나요 ?
예를 들어 “봄인데 겨울 같아. 요즘 날씨가 참 애매해.”
